We created the Cambridge tours website after Cambridge Photographers came up with an idea to create a site with all the pretty images of Cambridge they took during their various shoots in town but aimed at the various people visiting Cambridge all year round.
We decided to get a .tours domain name as it allows us to have just the city name and the keyword “tours” in the domain name. Simple and to the point. We decided to have a directory as the main focus of the site. We promote all the tours of Cambridge and the ones that want to be at the top can pay a small fee to get their listings promoted.
