# Visual Network

> Visual Network builds AI web applications on demand, in static HTML or
> Node.js, ships them to their own domains and sells them. Run by Jean-Luc
> Benazet from Cambridge, UK. Also AI poster art sold on Etsy and original
> AI music released on Spotify.

Visual Network is one person, not an agency. The person who answers an
enquiry is the person who writes the app, deploys it and maintains it.
Source code is handed over on every build; no builder platform sits in the
middle. Builds are quoted per job rather than sold in fixed packages.

## The two build routes

- Static HTML app: runs entirely in the browser. Right for calculators,
  checkers, quote builders, generators and configurators. No server, no
  database, no monthly hosting cost.
- Node.js application: server-backed. Needed for user accounts, saved
  history, Stripe payments, usage limits, and calling AI models without
  exposing API keys.

The deciding question is whether anyone needs to sign in. If yes, Node.js.
If no, static HTML.

## Tools used

Claude, ChatGPT and Google AI Studio, used directly. One-click app builders
are deliberately avoided because their output cannot be debugged or exported.
